Only time for a super quick blog entry today. I've got a mountain of correcting! My cousin from Santa Few, New Mexico arrives tomorrow -- she'll be here for the launch of What World Is Left -- so I want to get as much work done as possible before she gets here.
Because I'm in the midst of all this busy-ness, I have a few reflections to share about being crazy-busy (I bet a lotof you readers are feeling the same way -- the whole world seems to be flying since our last long weekend). I'm trying really hard to stop every once in a while (difficult for a speed demon like me!!) and just enjoy the happiness and excitement that comes with launching a new book -- especially a book that is as close to my heart as this one.
Yesterday was the first media interview about the new book. I went to tape a segment at CJNT, a community TV station here in Montreal, for a show called Montreal Matters. I know it's supposed to air in November, so I'll keep you posted when I have more details. Okay, back to my mountain!! Remember: breathe, be grateful, celebrate!!(That advice is as much for me as for you!!)
